Searching Solution for Hong Kong Police Force to Improve Information Sharing & Crime Fighting

Hong Kong Police Force has been set up an intranet, known as POINT (POlice INTranet). POINT is an intelligent searching engine and Unitech has served as an integration services provider, linked up around 3,000 workstations to the POINT in Hong Kong. The POINT can efficiently disseminated vast information to the Force members, and allows them to find information such as procedure manuals, headquarters order, laws and references. Force members can also use any networked terminals in their stations to access the most updated and accruate information in a fast and easy manner. |
